hello.
when i sleep, i don't exist. no one remembers me in my world of sleep. no one hears me or sees me. i don't feel any weight of responsibility. i have no restrictions, yet i don't feel compelled to break any rules.

the blackness from the shutting of eyes reveals my invisibility to the world around me. i am free. i do see blurry pictures once in a while but they are never vivid, clear or intrusive. they always leave a faint trace of lingering when they go. there is no forced obligation to remember anything. and i like that.

when i wake up, the pictures remain for a while. and as i began to orientate myself, all the remnants of sleep are diluted with the bombardment of memories. as the pieces of sleep fade away, my mind makes a harsh effort to remember. nothing from the realm of sleep ever survives in this world. so whatever that we share with friends or ourselves about what we saw when we 'dream' were actually fruitless efforts of piecing the lost pieces of 'sleep.' we can only lie to ourselves and collect fragments of memories and experiences to tell a story that can never be remembered.

sleep will never be grasped here. sleep is freedom from the toil of emotions. in sleep, we hear our contentment and peace.
